The only programming I have ever know has been programming for the web. Chiefly PHP and JavaScript (with a little RoR sprinkled in there along the way), but all loosely-typed languages where it is easy to be a bit sloppy with the code and still get away with it.

When contacted by FranceInfo, an Orange representative reportedly confirmed that that the carrier has been deliberately limiting speeds for all 3G capable phones on its network to 384Kbps, saying the move was aimed at ‘preserving the stability of the network’.

The iPhone app store ‘reviews’ are full of people shouting off about how “This app should be free”. As far as I’m concerned, nothing could be further from the truth - no matter how simple the application.
