This jQuery URL Parser is a little plugin that I wrote a while back and have now decided to release properly. It’s based on Steven Levithian’s regex-based URI parser, and allows you to quickly and painlessly access pretty much any bit of information within the URL.

Until recently I had never figured out how to set a value, using HTML only, that gets passed to the server when a checkbox is unchecked. Checked sure, but unchecked? This maybe old hat to some but I have finally figured out a way to do it.

When contacted by FranceInfo, an Orange representative reportedly confirmed that that the carrier has been deliberately limiting speeds for all 3G capable phones on its network to 384Kbps, saying the move was aimed at ‘preserving the stability of the network’.
