I'm a freelance web developer (and occasional designer) living in Brighton, England. I specialise in thoughtful, pragmatic frontend development, but I also spend a fair bit of time working on server-side solutions in both PHP and Ruby.

About this site

This site is built on a very basic custom Rails content management system, and uses a fair bit of the newer HTML elements plus some CSS3 goodness to make it all look presentable. It probably looks terrible in IE, but it's my personal playground so that's ok.

It uses a sprinkling of media queries in an attempt to optimise the site for different viewport sizes, but it's still a work in progress, so if you are having trouble reading anything (and you're using a recent version of a modern browser!) then I'd love to hear how you think it could be improved.
